Businessman, Mr. Femi Otedola has been inaugurated as the Chancellor of Augustine University in Ilara, Epe.
Otedola was inducted on Thursday during the varsity’s fifth (5th) convocation ceremony.
The former Chairman of Forte Oil made it known on his X account (formerly Twitter) today.
“Today, I was inaugurated as the Chancellor of Augustine University. I strongly believe in transforming establishments that I am associated with,” the philanthropist posted.
He also disclosed that he donated the sum of One Million Naira (1,000,000) each to the students of the institution.
“I gave a gift of One Million to each of the Seven Hundred and Fifty Students. I hope this donation of Seven Hundred and Fifty Million Naira assists the plight of the parents of our students in this difficult time.”
